i was hoping for more at lamphu house, but i guess wanting a kettle in the room is too much to ask. who puts coffee at the reception anyway? my 4-night stay was ruined by those squeaky beds, too. i nearly thought to give a good review, but clearly no one cares here. horrible!

Stayed with friends for an awesome time. We loved the clean pool and the staff who helped us book zipline adventure and visit a beautiful temple. The lush surroundings made us feel like we were in a jungle paradise. Definitely a great spot to experience Chiang Mai.
Our bathroom had an unpleasant smell, which was pretty disappointing during our stay. It could have made the experience much better.

Charming stay in the heart
My stay at Lamphu House Chiang Mai was delightful. The large pool area was an oasis of relaxation, and the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The location was a gem, with easy access to local markets and beautiful temples. Breakfast was a treat, with plenty of options to fuel my day.
However, I did encounter a few hiccups during my visit. The floors in the room were quite slippery, and the absence of a shower curtain resulted in a wet bathroom post-shower. A kettle or fridge in the room would have been a welcome addition.

Exploring Chiang Mai was a blast! We visited the Sunday Night Market, which was colorful and vibrant. The hotel was a great home base, especially with my sister, as we enjoyed the excellent pool and yummy food options available right there.
My wife says that the shower setup could use improvement for families.
